He certainly was offered and being recruited. UGA, Bama, South Carolina and UT was his final 4. Top 150 player in the country, #2 player out of South Carolina, and #21 WR in the country.

You must be confusing South Carolina with Clemson. He did not have a scholarship offer from SC.

Go check out the sites. He did not have a SC offer. They wanted him to come in to camp to evaluate him. He didn't want to come tryout at a camp for them. No offer was given.

He wasn't 2nd ranked in state or #1 wr in state until a recent update. He was ranked 380th in March.
Stevenson is ranked 3rd in SC and 4 stars now and doesn't have an offer from Clemson or SC. Different staffs look for different things in players. /shrug

Not sure why this comment was necessary. We picked up a decent WR or two this class. You don't just hand out offers without getting the kids into camp.
Also SC is in the running for the #1 player in the country..Beamer and staff are doing just fine. We smashed the vols last year and held their instate WR to not much
I will also add that at his ceremony he wore clemson attire before pulling out the UT gear. Clemson was his #2 and they hadnt talked to him as of recently

His final 4 were Tennessee, Clemson, Miami and North Carolina. Georgia had not talked to him in weeks. I coached the kid for 2 years and was with his dad on staff. The hardest 2 pushing for him were UT and UNC.
