Will likely announce in August or September.

Top 4

Bama
Auburn
South Carolina
Tennessee

I think he's leaning SC or VOLS, but this one has been a strange recruitment and wouldn't be shocked if he ended up at any of those 4 schools. I've heard that we backed off a little bit back in May because he has questionable speed and is probably a tad overrated.

Haven't heard much from Bama or Auburn on McCullough, is he a take? What's everyone hearing?

Don't think he's high on AU's board right now. Concerns over speed. Same reason Adonis Otey is not a take

I think he's a good hybrid LB/S fit. If you run a lot of 4-2-5 looks (which is happening a ton) could be a good fit as that nickel backer type. Good player

All indications are that he has been leaning Tennessee lately, at least from our end.

It's a position of need for us, so I think we'd still take him, but I've definitely been hearing more and more that he should be listed as a 3 star talent.

Yeah, I bet he got told to look elsewhere. He may pick Arkansas or Louisville today. He wasn't gonna get a committable offer from us until he camped, and he didn't camp.

That's been my assessment, I think he's a good football player, but he's one of those guys that doesn't really have a position at the next level. Which is probably why we slowed our pursuit. I still think we take him because he's a good player, but he's definitely a project.

I could see him maybe as an undersized linebacker as well if he can get a bit bigger. Love how he plays the run but understandable concern about him in coverage or playing sideline to sideline

But not a bad top 4 to have when it comes to evaluating defensive talent. Interested to see where he lands & what he does at next level

I know that Muschamp REALLY wants him based on interviews, and I think he said he talks with Charles Kelly (our current Safeties coach and his FSU recruiter) a few times a week. I think his relationship with Kelly has kept him from pulling the trigger for SC already.

Yeah, he needs about 20-30 more lbs to move to linebacker, and I don't know if he's got the frame to support it. But he is a fricking thumper and has great instincts and that's why I'd take him even as a project.
