Watched Akers last night against South Panola. That guy is a beast. He runs very powerful. He was breaking arm tackles like crazy.

I think I like him more than Najee Harris, the top RB for 2017 that's committed to Alabama.

That game was boring for #1 vs # 2. All Clinton did was run the same 3 plays with Akers all night long (ie. I am saying their game plan sucked but then again that is what SP did as well). Plus if he was a 1/2 way decent QB they might have won he game.

Who can't break arm tackles?

You'll be changing your tune when this kid flips to State next summer.

He needs to get north-south more but he was really impressive against a stout SP defense

He needs to move to RB to start learning his craft while exploiting his natural talent. Kid is a great athlete who will shine in college.

I think this is his first year playing QB.

Considering Ole Miss' RB situation they should go all in for this kid

I guess I should clarify. He was running through several would-be tacklers at once. A one on one arm tackle is one thing, but there were several instances where he had 4-5 different hands on him at the same time but exploded through.

Considering I'm a South Panola fan, I was not happy about it.

No, he played a little QB as a freshman behind Cale Luke and was the full time starter as a Sophomore.
