Yeah it's not like he had one of the top safeties in the country commit to us THE DAY he was hired.

I've never seen you predict a recruit to go to anywhere but LSU. And they've all been "obvious" yet not everyone has gone to LSU so...
Well yall couldn't make a phone call to him

I'm pretty sure you can call recruits during the dead period. Just no face to face.

Just looked it up and you're right. I thought they couldn't but that might've been changed recently when they got more lax on the social media stuff

Possibly. I'm glad we were able too though. If not he might have been Auburn bound.

When narcisse decommitted but didn't commit somewhere else right away (kinda like the TX running back did today dropping UGA for UTa) it just kinda felt like it was a matter of time before he got back on board with LSU. Orgeron is a disaster of a coach, but he can sell (either that or it was a troll job for publicity which wouldn't surprise my that much either... O is a clown).

Orgeron might be a clown but the guy can recruit. At least talent won't be a problem at LSU for the foreseeable future. With Aranda and Canada coaching each side of the ball this thing might work. Not holding my breath though.

Talent never was. The difference in the program, hopefully, will be a competent offensive coordinator running the show on offense.
With two solid coordinators and the talent he will have at LSU, O should be fine

I have to disagree. Our defensive line talent has dwindled over the years and that is probably the most important unit in college football. Orgeron is getting us back on track in the trenches by getting Lawrence and Alexander last year and getting Shelvin and Wilson this year.

You are right about that. Our DL talent hasn't matched our DB talent and it's hurt us in November. DL talent should never be an issue with O.
That's certainly a big plus of having him as the head coach. When our DL talent matches the talent Raymond brings in our defense will take it to an even higher level. We're almost there too
