we only have to win more than 3 games next year to show that we're going in the right direction

This is a great way to end the debate

tFear is so real in this thread, it's great, 8 downvotes in the OP.

Stop it with the fear stuff. You guys are arguably in worse shape than you have been since Lou The leprechaun's first year. You just lost one of the top 10-20 all-time great coaches and replaced him with a guy that couldn't win at Florida.

Cocks revert to the mean. 11 win seasons are a clear outlier. 7 win seasons are not.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

It's funny to me that UGA fans have been dogging on our program so much lately. There's plenty you could say about Muschamp, but there's literally nothing you can say about Smart. He has no experience at HC, and he's walking into a program full of expectations. When it seemed apparent that we were hiring Smart, I knew there would be nothing to brag about aside from recruiting. Why beat your chest over someone who has no HC experience?

I think UGA fans are hating on Muschamp so much because they know it's possible that Smart pans out exactly like Muschamp: a highly successful coordinator who takes his first HC job at a successful SEC school with high expectations, and fails. Makes sense that you'd get your jabs in while you can.

We're hoping that Muschamp has learned what he did wrong. UGA fans ought to hope Smart can be a HC at all.
