What happened to Merlin's neck? Was he born without one?

I've met him while he was at Briarcrest Academy in Memphis. I completely disagree.
deltaland's meeting with Freeze is the first one I've ever heard of as him not being a likable guy as well.

Most girls basketball coaches that I've met that are guys are kinda creepy imo.
Doyle Wolverton and Craig Dailey say Hi.

Merlins has just as much neck as Freeze does fwiw. they both suffer from short neck syndrome.

I mean he is an alright guy... I don't dislike him I'm speaking liking as a football coach personality goes. He doesn't exactly create energy while in his presence. He seemed calm with little emotion, I like football coaches that get you pumped up, show a lot of emotion etc. That's just my opinion, but I'm the type of player that feeds off the energy around me.

Yeah, I still think he's going to Ole Miss. What time are these guys supposed to announce today?

Freeze is not a likable guy. He is a good guy, but hard to like. I've met him in person, when I was going through recruiting he tried to recruit me to Lambuth. He came across as a very odd person to me, just a strange character. Not your typical football coach personality.
One person's anecdote =/= proof

and we all realize that and thank Deltaland for his honest evaluation that is most likely 100% right.

Didn't say it was proof... just an honest opinion from someone who was a college football player and how a player might view a coach.
He is a nice guy, and likable person. He is just one of those that when you meet you're like "meh". Just kind of boring and stoic. But then again it was Lambuth university and the whole school had that feeling

Aren't you still a college football player? Aren't you training to walk on at State?
That's what I read a while back. I hope that hasn't changed. Grind on.

Not at the moment.

Yes... but have put it on hold for now. I play D line and after seeing the guys we are going to sign this year I probably won't have much chance to see the field so not sure if worth the time. I've been weighing my options... might just be a better decision to let it go, as much as I want to play, and continue to get my degree. I changed my degree to business this semester because I came up with a business plan that I'd like to pursue, (not discussing details here, but it's a food product that doesn't have a fast food chain base, and would be perfect to start one with)
From who I've talked to about the idea everyone has told me it's a great idea and could possibly be big... so I'm doing some more research to see if it's feasible price wise. And also going to search for investors after creating a detailed business plan that is convincing. Football just will take too much time and won't be worth it if I have little chance of playing. MIght as well pursue something else in life.

I'm not quite sure that this is a word. I'll just be quiet on the whole matter and quit talking about it.

I never joined the team so I haven't quit anything. I been training on my own to prepare for it if I did decide to join. I'm still training, just haven't made a decision whether I should play or not.
