4* DT Brant Lawless commits to VOLS

Nice pull for the staff. I believe that Litaker and Emerson aren't far behind.

This is the best DT class in the state of Tennessee that I can remember. If yall get all 3 of Emerson, Lawless and Litaker that would be a hell of a haul. Curious to see how Litaker looks this year back from injury. Had a shot at being a top 100 player before blowing ACL last year

The state has always produced good OL and DL but this year is really special. TN HS football has come a long damn way over the past 15 years. We all know that Middle, TN has exploded around the Nashville area but what's really surprising is that East, TN is also taking off despite Knoxville and Chattanooga being smaller than Nashville and Memphis. And the even smaller middle sized cities across the state (those mid-range towns and cities that would typically produce prospects in places like MS, AL, LA, etc.) are starting to produce them here. TN HS football is just tons better than it used to be and has finally started to catch up in coaching, training, and facilities.

As to Litaker, it will definitely be interesting to see how he bounces back. I don't know the degree of his injury but people are really excited about him and last I heard they still think his potential for moving up even higher in the position rankings is there.

Didnt they land the best recruiting class ever for DL a few years ago? That didnt pan out, neither will this.
