Because A, MS is a small state so when kids like this pop up, which is frequent, it doesn’t take long to become common knowledge.

B, State and Ole Miss fans have said this when they both thought they were getting him, not because the other did but because small state and we know people who work at his high school. They say he doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell unless there is a drastic change.

Would changing schools and states not qualify as a drastic change? I mean I get what you’re saying but there is obviously a plan. Will it work? I don’t know but it’s something.

Ah, so it’s word of mouth and it should be trusted because it’s a small state school

That seems super legit

Still don’t know how you guys are so sure about a kids grades. Because some Ole Miss posters said so? They’re sealed from the public. He has an entire year and summer to get them right if they are low. There’s a reason he’s moving to Florida for his senior year. He’s gonna be fine.

I doubt he plays D1 ball.

We said the same thing about Xavier Peters from Florida State. Their own insiders actually said it, that they didn't expect him to qualify.

Welp, he qualified.

To me, I think it's just about greasing the right palms, like everything NCAA.

Well considering this kid skipped his first 3 days of classes, quit the team, came back on the team and played a game then quit the team again and transfer schools doesn’t make anyone confident he has the maturity to do what it takes to get eligible.

Link?

Or is this just more “word of mouth from a small state school” garbage that we should take as gospel because a couple of hillbillies from Starkville and Oxford are mad online that he flipped to a different school

That’s just what’s been reported by both the ole miss media and state media. Who are both in agreement that he won’t qualify. Care to make a wager on it if you’re so confident?

We are giving you resonable responces but you call us hillinillies. I don’t think we are the ones that are mad. We have been saying this since we both thought we were getting him.

Also I did not mean the school as a dtastic change. He has proven himself to be hilariously immature so idk if him moving out on his own is a good thing.

I don’t know if he qualifies or not. I don’t know his grades. Neither do you.

Saying you know he won’t qualify when you don’t know his grades and he has an entire year to correct whatever MAY be wrong.

I just think it’s silly to speak in absolutes in something you don’t know to be true.

So journalist from two in state schools with sources at the kids school, in the kids family, and close to the kid have all said for awhile the kid has no chance to qualify and will at minimum take the post grad route and you don’t think we’re informed on the situation? You’re quick to throw out insults for someone with even less information on the subject.

Yeah, because nobody knows the kids grades. I have a feeling that Florida is going to do whatever they can to get him qualified.

Maybe he has no chance. But my point is that you, nor any of your small state school sources, know that for sure.

It’s silly to pretend you do.

How do you know that? You have no idea who the sources are. It could be a family memeber who knows exactly what his grades are. Of his coach who knows exactly what his grades are. It’s silly to pretend you’re right when you’re a nobody with no sources or any knowledge of the situation.

Why do you care this much about a Florida commit? What’s it to you?

What's hilarious is that you don't know who the source is. We could take guesses to -- maybe you're the source, a jealous MSST fan. The fact of the matter is: No one knows. Maybe his grades are terrible. Maybe they're bad. Maybe they're fixable, maybe they're not.

But this conversation is stupid.

There has been open discussion of him not playing football this year, getting his GED and starting JUCO in the spring to get a head-start on getting into a university. Mullen obviously has a different plan. I don't know anything about Osceola.

I find it funny that you all believe our sources aren’t good enough, but you’re all afraid to take a bet. Just a bunch of hypocrites.

Only a fool would bet on something he can't personally verify himself. I wouldn't mind taking a bet on a game when I've seen my team, but I have no idea what his grades are -- neither do you.

He could end up not qualifying, he could.

To me, him moving two hours away from Gainesville is probably a surefire sign that something happened, but taking blind bets with insecure fans isn't fun.

Mullen and the recruiting staff will have done good work if they get him in UF, let alone qualify.
