A Cincinnati Moeller product,"the three-star tight end selected the Cats over scholarships from more than 20 schools, including Louisville, Michigan, Cincinnati, Pitt, Arkansas and Northwestern".
"At 6-foot-4, 245 pounds, Kattus is already built like an SEC tight end. Not only does he have the power and strength to absorb blows from multiple defenders, he has the balance to stay on his feet and still get yards after the catch. Kattus can use that strength to reach block defensive ends or serve as the lead block for runners as an H-back." from KSR
