Boom appears to be intent on building a big time DLine .... and OLine for that matter actually.

Is he looking around? Oregon just offered.
Watch out SEC we coming for your tier 3 DL recruits.

I hadn't heard that he was, but it's possible. I think that he's better than his rating suggests. (though I'm sure every fan says the same about their own 3* recruits)

That shuttle time for his size is impressive.

Sometimes those turn out to be beasts though.

Jake Shipley is the only DL in Cali that I can think of that visited Oregon, UW and ASU and had a legit offer from all 3. That’s the top 3 recruiters right now. The dude is an 85 composite. When the three best recruiters are fighting over that, you know it’s bad.

I've read recently he could have been told to look around if certain things fell into place at South Carolina. Either that or he's getting more interest now after playing his senior year.

Thanks. That’s good to know. Maybe we can get a win-win here?
Oregon has Bradyn Swinson from Ga in this class at DL. Maybe the two can be buddies.
Holy hell watching Swinson’s hudl and knowing he’s scraps.

Georgia Tech has just offered. He was down on our list behind Nazier Stackhouse (UGA) and Jayson Jones (Bama). GT is working on flipping those two guys as it’s rumored UGA and Bama might be looking to drop them. The longer it goes the more it looks like they are staying committed.
Thus the offer to Scott. His teammate Jordan Williams is committed to Tech. Word was back when Williams committed that Scott would have committed to Tech if he had an offer. Williams will be in his teammates ear to join him at Tech.

Oregon offered Jaylen Smith out of NC and he decommited from NC State right after. So, maybe that’s the man in the middle we’re chasing. Who knows?
Keanan Caldwell is another that’s visiting.
I am not sure where the Georgia DL is on our pecking order.

Come out west, bro.
I think there’s two west of the Rockies over a 90 composite. They’re both really long and Harris out of Zona is too small through the hips.
ETA: I guess Van Fillinger is over 90 now. So, there’s three offers by Oregon to any DL over 90.

But he did take an official visit to Oregon over the weekend and the Ducks are in strong pursue. So much so, according to Scott’s coach Heath Webb, Oregon sent a private plane to jet him to Eugene for the visit.
How is sending a private plane to pick up a recruit not a violation? (Honest question, I legit do not know).

Schools may pay for a recruit’s transportation to and from campus. However, they can only provide transportation for parent/guardians if they travel in the same car as the recruit. Flights and separate bus or train tickets may not be purchased for parents.

He wasn’t flown on a private jet. There’s an interview from the kid himself saying that was a fabrication.
Oregon brought in 3 DL and needed one. They got a commit from Jaylen Smith from NC who was committed to NC State. Most thought he was the #1 on the board going into the weekend.
I don’t think Makius is a take right now.

No worries. I figured something like that was up. If something like that actually happened you wouldn't say it in the press.

Congrats on the get and good luck the rest of the way.
