Okay. So what you are saying is multiple Georgia fans brought recruiting information to the recruiting board. It obviously ticked you off enough thta when said recruit signed with Alabama you went back reposted the comments.

Since you won't admit that it irritated you, would you mind telling us what you think the recruiting board is for?

I was under the impression when news...whether it is a signing, rumors or information brought by an insider is made that we should bring it to this board for discussion. ?

By going back to look them up (Whether they were on the same page or not) then reposting all of them in separate posts, it seems as if you were not particularly happy we brought the information. At best it makes you look vindictive and petty.

Nope. That's what you're saying. I'm saying they posted unsubstantiated "fake news" drivel. And that's now been proven by Arnold's own words.

Honestly, I don't give a sh¡t what Dawg fans and "insiders" think, believe or post on this board. Imo, most of it is worthless drivel. But I've never suggested y'all shouldn't be posting it. Carry on.

I'm not the one that copied and pasted individual posts from the people you don't care about.

I mean you clearly care at least a little bit. If you didn’t, you wouldn’t respond, repost, etc.

He's a confusing person. I mean, apparently he thinks we should not post on the recruiting board because "he" does not care what we think.

Personally I don't post information specifically for him, so I don't care if he cares or not. Others might appreciate the information.

I am beginning to think he belongs in the William T class of poster.

Im looking at the draft. I wouldve thought it woukd be loaded with Georgia guys from the 2018 class. Are a lot of them coming back?

I’m seeing Azeez Ojulari, who was really underrated, mocked in the first. Fields, Cade Mays and Tyson Campbell are transfers who are projected to go high whenever they go pro. Campbell I believe transferred to Miami and I’m not sure what Cade Mays is doing. That class was stacked. Brenton Cox and Luke Ford also transferred.

We did have some come back. Let me go look at who all was in the 2018 class. We had quite a bit of them leave, too.

I will just go down the list, if that is okay:

QB-Fields-Left (OSU)
RB-Z. White-Returning
OT-Salyer-Returning
CB-Campbell- draft
OLB-Anderson-Returning
OT-Mayes-Left-(Tenn)
DE-Cox-Left (Fla.)
LB-Walker-Returning
RB-Cook-Returning
TE-Ford-Left (Ill. Had sick grandfather)
OG/OC-Hill-Draft
LB-Reece-Left (Ole Miss)
LB-Tindall-Returning
WR-Jackson-Returning
LB-Ojulari-Draft
WR-Bush-Returning-been injured...a lot.

The rest are all returning, I think, except for Devonta Wyatt.

We had so many decide to come back, which is one reason we feel really good about next season. Had a lot of them get caught behind other players and either left or are leaving, though. Most have been very good players.

Campbell is still a UGA but he’s predicted to go in the late first round early second round.

Ojulari is predicted to go in the middle of the first round.

Fields was in there and I’m not claiming him but he’s going top ten.

3 of the top 5 that year are coming back in White who has had a couple of knee injuries and Anderson who had a strong year but has been stuck behind Ojulari and Johnson. Salyer is also coming back and probably headed back to guard.

My goodness half the class transferred. Dudes impatient. Think they are supposed to start day one.

Yeah. Well, some were 5*. there were conflicts with Cox and a player or two. He seems to be doing well for Florida.

Saban can keep players happy better than most coaches. He does a great job in keeping the players happy and waiting on their opportunity. Some of our guys were very impatient. One was wanting to go closer to home, different stuff happened.

ETA
I put Campbell down as transferring and was wrong. I was thinking Tyrique Stevenson. Campbell is going to the draft as Peter mentioned. mY bad.

Mayes was from a UT legacy family and Tennessee signed his brother. He wanted to play with his brother.

I may be completely wrong but I think part of his success is recruiting great players with the type of mindset that makes it easier to convince to stay around longer than other players. He’s had players in the past that seemed like they couldn’t wait to play or go pro. This 2017 class was really a special group of kids. Other classes were more individualistic in nature.

Nope. That's what you're saying. I'm saying they posted unsubstantiated "fake news" drivel.

It was news reported from our Insiders on their web sites. Are you saying the information you bring comes straight from the recruits mouth? Of course what we are saying is unsubstantiated. I don't know many people who get news straight from a recruit.

Where do you get your news?

Not a problem, but I think there are people who do. Including other fans of other fan bases. I know I find news from other fan bases interesting. I am still struck thta you think only news straight from a recruit is newsworthy.

This place would dry up and blow away if nobody posted what their insiders said.

But maybe you are right. maybe we should limit the news on here to hard hitting facts like you bring: Hearing his parents were born around 1980.

For some reason you don't care about hearing what other fan bases insiders are saying about the recruitment, but you think we are interested in hearing your jokes.

Actually I think you are 100% correct. Kirby's first class was 2017. (He came in 2016, but the class was pretty much done save for a couple of players.) We were pretty devoid at certain positions, and I think in order to get a talent infusion he took some players that he probably shouldn't have. Hopefully that is in the past.

Saban does a great job of identifying the best recruits talent wise, and as a whole character wise. Obviously some will leak through, but it can't be 100% spot on. Saban does as well and better than almost every other coach in the country in this regard.

Yep, and yet you felt a need to repost and ridicule that we did bring it. Seems like an odd thing to do.

And yet, like me, you are still here posting. Whether we like it or not we both enjoy talking to other fans of our teams, and talking to fans of other teams. Otherwise there would be very little reason to be here.

My favorite part of the board is hearing opinions and info brought by other fans about recruits. No matter how much it is "fake news drivel".

I guess my problem with you is you come off as thinking your opinions are somehow superior, and others should reject the "fake news drivel" that their insiders report.....again an odd stance concerning your opinions and news is also "fake news drivel" that you have read from your own insiders. I mean, unless we have direct contact with recruits, then that is primarily the only way we get information. Any and all of us get our information that way. Even you.
