Recruiting season is year-round. Imo it's great having this board where fans from every SEC team can discuss recruiting battles. Nobody is holding a gun to your head making you read this board. If you can't handle it, maybe you should only read and post about recruiting in the Tiger Droppings LSU Recruiting Board.
ETA: I don't mean that as an insult. It's just that you keep saying you prefer a site that's only for LSU fans. That site is Tiger Droppings. This site is the SEC Rant. Since you don't like this site that's intended for all SEC fanbases, why do you read it and post in it so much?

No need to crawfish say what’s on your mind.The problem is this site is part of Tigerdroppings and the recruiting battles between LSU and Bama for LA recruits is obviously heated since Saban arrived at Bama.There is a lot of opportunity for negative recruiting through this site and Bama fans have obviously taken advantage of it.

I take a look over there to check for info from the LSU side on prospects that LSU and Bama are battling for. I look at other 247Sports team sites for info on Bama targets too.

I think you're way overestimating any influence that fans may have on recruits' decisions via message boards, social media, etc. Most recruits are going to go through the recruiting process focused on talking to and visiting with the coaching staffs, players and other recruits of the schools that are making them a priority and pick the school that they feel is the best fit for them and where they feel the most comfortable.

Well that definitely sounds like the way things should play out but unfortunately that’s just not the case.Negative recruiting is a big part and unfortunately for LSU when Saban went to Bama it was magnified.

I can handle fans of other teams voicing their views and opinions just fine. That's what this site is for. If I couldn't handle it I wouldn't come here.
