If I remember right the last time Ole Miss got a QB that didn't come to LSU, it was Robert Lane. Shied away from Russell and Flynn. How did that work out. If it's about competition and he doesn't want to come so be it.

Umm. Bo was an unrecruited 2* out of high school. Think before you press send next time. I think Freeze is batting 1.000 in the QB development area.

If you think Bo Wallace counts as a super developed world beater, you are great mistaken. Just because he was top 10 in yardage doesn't mean anything. Remember Case keenum? How about Timmy Chang? When the pressure was on Wallace. He mostly turned into "bad bo" especially that horrible throw for a pick when all he needed was a few yards to have a game tying field goal

patterson is a fine qb prospect. he reminds me of trey quinn. they are both guys who were technically and fundamentally way ahead of high school kids at their position. their rankings coming out of hs reflected this advanced stage. their ranking are higher than their pure athletic talent and that will catch up to them in college. both will be very good college players but not to the extent of their hs rankings.

Bo was never an elite qb. He simply didn't have the tools to be that. But he gave it his all and he competed. He gave Ole Miss some huge wins and he gave us some bad losses. Id take bo wallace over most sec qbs. Definitely over that garbage lsu put out this year. The funny thing is that LSU is one of those programs that recruiting comes easy and they still can't recruit/develop a qb worth a shat. Oh by the way Georgia developed Mettenberger not LSU and come on now Mettenberger wasn't that good
