Cox will re-sign with State. We placed him at EMCC and have a need at DB.
We will likely sign 3 kids from EMCC, the kid from Co-Lin, another WR, and JUCO OL

That's not an offer. That's saying "We're interested, but we want to see how you do in spring ball and in school before we offer".
And here's what he said to Rivals at that same Junior Day that quote is from:

"I want to return back if I can, and if I get a scholarship I'll be back as soon as possible. They haven't offered. They said they are waiting on spring ball to start so they can come and see me and where I'm at. And I have to get out in December."

No way we sign 6 JUCO, that is just dumb. Devonte Scott is committed right now. He is JUCO; I originally thought we pulled his offer, but I guess he didn't qualify out of HS.

Jackie Sherrill used to sign 5 or more JUCO players EVERY year. It makes up for players who sign out of HS and can't cut it or don't pan out.
Devonte Scott committed, but we didn't let him sign out of HS b/c his grades. Justin Cox had a chance of qualifying so he signed, and when he didn't we placed him at EMCC. Lauren Jackson a DT from Meridian was also placed at EMCC and will likely sign with us as well this December.
I know we want to sign a big tall WR out of JUCO and we have offered Leslie from Hinds, Rumph from Holmes, and Smith from EMCC. Hopefully we can land one of those three.
Plus we plan on signing Za'Darius Smith the DE from EMCC as well. He started opposite of Denico Autry on last year's JUCO national championship team.

The SEC has changed since Jackie didnt finish in the top 25 when he won the west Bundy. Can't win with juco's. Not in football and defiantly not in basketball

Ole miss and state have to sign a few jucos a year to be successfull. That's just a fact. If they don't pan out, well, you just signed the wrong ones.

The only reason you have to sign multiple juco's is because you didn't sign the right freshmen a couple years ago, which happens.
