yeah, which you need to do every year, unless you start signing perfect classes.

every signing class needs some JUCOS to fill needs but 5 is overkill imo

Ole miss and state have to sign a few jucos a year to be successfull. That's just a fact. If they don't pan out, well, you just signed the wrong ones.

The only reason you have to sign multiple juco's is because you didn't sign the right freshmen a couple years ago, which happens.

The kids in Ms are dumb and have to go to JC. Nothing wrong with recruiting them. Older and can put in 2 good years. They can start on D but have to be redshirted for offense.

Dorsey
Schaffer
Pena
Nichols
Stoudt
D. Jackson
We're all wasted schollies.

Pendleton
Collins
Trahen
Grant
Fein
Contributed and were good commitments

So we're pretty close to 50/50 but you have to do better than that. That's why I'm not high on juco guys. We'll see if Freeze has as good an eye for them as Merlins.

Don't think it's been posted, but State offered Fayetteville LB Brooks Ellis yesterday.

Kid is an Arkansas lock no need for even listing him.

State fans are y'all conceding USP? Not one coach from USM or MSU at their spring jamboree. Im not saying its a bad idea, but was wondering if there is any word about giving up on SP.

All they have is Antonio Connor and Deon Mix.

I like our odds with Mix.

Yea and theyre both top 5 players in the state. Is there anoter school you would rather recruit from? Is there more talent somewhere else? Also you do realize you recruit more than one class at a time. USP has about 7 kids on their team that are SEC caliber players from 9th-12th grade. You can go ahead and recruit them... It's allowed. LSU's coaches were there. They seemed to think it wasn't a waste of time

For instance.. As a freshman Rodreck Taylor was offered at the elite camp at OM and as a sophomore was offered the first day at Bama's camp, yet Mullen doesn't seem to know enough about him to offer arguably the state's top prospect next year

We are recruiting out of State harder ever than I can recall. Plus we have schools like West Point, Columbus, and Meridian on lock.

But but but OOS kids suck and MS kids win championships. You're going against your doctrine Bundy. I'm just showing you examples of how freeze out works Merlins and that's why we will rape y'all in recruiting, not because we buy players. And yeah I'm going ahead and saying that when we are on a 14 SEC game losing streak. Shits going to get bad once(if) we win a few games

What have you heard about Austin Douglas, played at South Panola, is at northwest I think. Center, 6'2", 300 lbs. heard he is picking up attention of sec schools. He wanted to sign with MSU out of high school, I know he wants to play at State.
