Really? Why would we take a 3star tackle this year? Is there a chance he moves inside?
Posted on 7/29/12 at 8:58 pm to gatordmb89
Oh shite ok I don't know who Roderick is...
just made an assumption.
To me

First off, don't put so much stock into stars when you're looking at OL. He's raw, but athletic as hell. Yes, he could move inside if asked to. In fact, UF is taking him as a G, as far as I know.

Nah. Roderick may join Bryant at AU when Bryant flips. Wouldn't shock me.

Yes.

Good to know. I guess we'll be on the lookout for him when Bryant flips soon

If he can play guard I would say it's a definite possibility. My point was that we don't have room for an OT this year unless it was just one of those rare talents. But if he can play inside we very well might take him.

Think about this. Best-case scenario, Bryant flips this week, Johnson follows him to AU as our 1 OL signee, Kearse commits Friday, and Matthews flips this weekend. That would be 21 commits as Fall Camp starts. We'd only have 1 or 2 spots left to fill for the rest of this cycle

@DMcDonaldHoops: Heard today that 2013 PG Tahj Shamsid-Deen has a top four of Auburn, Butler, Richmond, and UConn.

Was the woman related to Cam? If so, we may have hit the Motherload.

Do you think we'd find a diamond in the rough, or go after another big name?

I'm a little uncomfortable with O.J. after reading about his dad posting on a message board & saying negative things about Auburn. That comes across as shady to me. Am I wrong for thinking this way?

Good point, it could possibly not be his dad.
Ive been just as impressed with O.J.'s interviews as I have with his on field performance. Having him & Adams would give Auburn the #1 class in the country but Id rather not have another Peaches in the background

Yes. People act like idiots on message boards for the most part.
