It took Tennessee 10 years to retire Peyton Manning's number and 30 years to retire Reggie Whites.

Cam can wait 4 more years.

I just feel like, if we're gonna put up a statue of the guy, the jersey on the statue should stop being worn.

Ahhhh let the kid wear #2 for his time on the Plains. Cam is an Auburn man and I would expect he has already agreed to this, or wouldn't mind for that matter. I want JWilks he looks real good toting the ball.

That only happened because the statue for the two was already in the works, and then Cam did what he did in 2010. I feel like maybe they'd wait a while to actually retire the #, if they do at all.

It's a jersey number. Who cares?

And if Wilkings even comes remotely close to making ppl forget about Cam while playing at Auburn, he'll be deserving of having his own number retired.

To top what Cam did at AU would be insane.

that's what # Foster was wearing in his picture with Tray Matthews.

Wouldn't be too shocked if we told Foster he could wear #2 and so we told Wilkins he could as well since someone else is getting it anyways so it wouldn't be retired yet.

Both could wear it too. Offense and defense.

Yeah, but it's more of the fact that the jersey is sitting on a statue outside of the stadium, not necessarily the timetable of it.

Either way, not that big of a deal.

Free rivals article on Khaliel Rodgers.

LINK

"I'm down to Auburn and USC," Rodgers said. "Nobody is leading, they are 50/50. I've been to each school two times, I have a great relationship with all the coaches. I may be committing this week, I may commit next month."

If he isn't afraid of tougher competition(and I doubt he is) I think he ends up at AU.

Yeah, that article was very positive for Auburn. He listed 4 things he liked about Auburn over USC, but didn't list much that he preferred about USC. Auburn has the advantage is distance from home, small town environment, conference, and relationships with coaches.
