Any member of Scout or Rivals willing to give me an update(in your own words of course) on 2012 basketball Center Jordan Dickerson. He is supposed to be deciding this week between AU, USCe, Providence and SMU and there are some updates from the mods about him. TIA

Hokanson updated again recently and said the SMU Rivals site is saying he privately committed to SMU today, nothing confirmed from Dickerson yet.

Hoke posted about an hour ago and said that Dickerson still favors Auburn, but that SMU is also in the picture... I think Providence is also still in the picture because it is close to home.

This board sucks now. This thread was great for all things Auburn recruiting. Now it sucks digging through all the shite on the board. It is basically the SEC rant part II now.

We will be OK. Our recruiting thread is on our team specific board. We can move forward from here and share AU recruiting news. Chicken just made it more difficult to jump into another teams thread.
NM it is still anchored like everyone else.

When a thread is anchored it means you can still post in it, but it will not cycle back to the top of all the threads when a new post is made. It eventually will fall off the front page..
IMO this thread and the other official recruiting threads need to be un anchored... If it's gonna be this way, then just kill the recruiting board. We already have an SECr. We don't need another one.

Why does this thread have to be anchored? It is pointless.It was nice having everything in one thread. I guess I will be around a whole lot less now.

Of course I can do that, but it's inconvenient as hell. I actually want to find it on the recruiting board. The team pages are a great concept, but they add nothing to this site. It's just a wasteland of old useless threads that mention your team, because you can't start any new, relevant threads on them.
