I'm assuming he means they "will not" consider offering him until winter.

That seems to be pretty last-minute if he's gonna be an EE

What's up with that? I couldn't imagine him going to SC after that kind of news

Having 15 scholarships is really going to take its toll on them before long.
Won't see the affects for a couple of years, but they will arise nonetheless.

Well rodgers will be an AU commit for a while

Didn't someone say today or tonight that he has decided to commit soon? Think this might be related? Fingers crossed.....

I would assume they want to see how their class fills out. If they think they are going to miss on a number of guys, they'll extend an offer.

quote:Stupid move on their part, IMO. He looked great at the Rivals Challenge and actually did well against Dee Liner. I'd be glad to take him, and it might help us with Kenny Bigelow.
Was just old that USCw will not consider offering K. Rodgers until winter. TIFWIW
Good news.

Not if they have more pressing needs. I mean, only 15 schollys? Ouch.

The sanctions are only for three years.
They'll be down to 55 scholarship players, minus attrition, at the end of the sanctions.
I don't care how good those 55 players are, that's going to be difficult to manage.

I was just throwing a random number out, but I see your point. It's something serious. I don't think a good team would survive, in the SEC, if they only had 15 schollies a year.

At this rate there is no possible way I can make it to signing day

I doubt I'll make it to football season tbh

You can't survive in any conference with 55 players. That's 30 players that you wanted that your rivals now have.
Not only have you depleted your roster, and basically insured that you had to hit on almost 100% of your evaluations, you'd improved the roster of your rivals.
