Well, Mitch committed to USCe. Looks like we're down to Olsen, Rettig, Thomas, and Buchanan (at least on my top list). I really hope we can get some of them in for BCW.

Were we legitimately after Mitch? I don't remember hearing much about him.

We recently offered him, and our coaches had visited him twice in the past week or so. We wanted him to come for a visit

I don't think any SEC team was legitimately after Mitch other than USCe. He did a damn good job of projecting that they were though.

I think he picks UA or UF.
I believe he likes UA the most, but his father couldn't come on his initial visit.
His father was with him for the Florida trip.
He's bringing his dad to Tuscaloosa early next month to see how he likes it. If dad gives the ok, I think he commits to Bama.

It's not that I don't like him, he seems like a good kid.
I just don't think he has any business being a top QB in the SEC.
You post in the 2013 UA thread so you obviously know my thoughts on him.

I do? News to me....I just read the Mitch thread and people said you weren't very high on the guy.
But I kinda agree, from my vast film breakdown of him (a 5 minute youtube clip), he doesn't wow me. Plus I don't like people that have a first name for their last.

I do too. My concern is with his accuracy/decision-making. He barely completed 50% of his passes his sophomore year and threw 20 INTs…
ETA: He had some games where he lit it up, and some where he was beyond terrible. For example:
12-34, 111 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT
13-39, 180 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
11-34, 140 yards, 1 TD, 5 INT
