Jayson Smith from McGill-Toolen got an offer today.

Trey Roberts, RB from the same high school, got a preferred walk-on offer as well.

Anybody know the deal with Grant Hill? Apparently
Charles from BOL spoke with him.

Charles Powers from BOL spoke to Grant Hill and he didn't commit, but said Bama is his leader.

Hmm, Bama went in hard today pushing for a commit.

Strong willed guy...

It's only a matter of time with Hill.

With him, Bozeman, and possibly Tyrone Crowder, our interior O-Line haul could be epic.

Tackles, on the other hand, are flying off the board and we appear to be missing out. One guy I would like our staff to look at is Jake Thomas out of Columbus, MS. I live in Columbus and even though it's only 24 miles from Mississippi State, it's a pro-Alabama town (Sandkhan knows what I'm talking about). He's a 4-star already and has good size. Landing him would make losing out on Bosch and LTT sting less.

Thanks. Hill should hopefully commit soon.

Maybe we can push for Santa Marina and Deon Mix. Tunsil seems unlikely and Tuley-Tillman should commit to Michigan soon, so maybe Santa Marina and Mix at tackle.

I hope so too.

It looks like A-Day is gonna be our big recruiting weekend, preseason, which is usually the case.

Hopefully we can pull Nkemdiche, Hackenberg, Hill, and a few other targets that weekend.

On second thought, just getting Nkemdiche and Hackenberg would be fricking fantastic.

T Rich, you seem very knowledgeable when it comes to football. Are you, or were you, a coach?

Not many people can explain a "yackle" the way you did without some experience.

With all these offers going out I'm starting to think we take more than the 19-20 we thought.

No, I wasn't the one that explained the yackle and I am much too young to be a coach, hell, if I was good enough I would be eligible to play college football this upcoming season.

Well shite, I thought that was you with the yackle info. Who explained the concept then?

I think we could probably take somewhere between 20 and 23. But it all depends on who leaves early for the draft next year and possible transfers or dismissals from the team.

Anyone heard from Buccwild? He said he had a huge email to send then disappeared. He did provide me with some good Hackenberg news (Rivals) but I haven't seen him since.

Vonn Bell, safety from Georgia had good things to say about Alabama following his visit today. I think he is headed to UGA but his recruitment bears watching.

Grant Hill says he is done with Junior Days and that he wants to visit Ole Miss and one of the Florida schools (he didn't specify which one).

Looking good for Bama IMO.

Brendan Langley, CB out of Georgia, got a face to face offer from Saban today. He has a top 3 of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.

Good size (6'0" 180lbs) and great speed. 4-star player.
