I wonder if Haynes being the new DC with his good history working with DBs will sway McNeil and get Seisay. Those two will start next year if they come here, no if ands or buts about it.

We need DBs!!!!!

It really looks like we are going to get Courtney Gardner... according to HV he is announcing Wednesday, the same day he meets our coaches again.

Man, I just don't know how you can say no to any of these receivers. But we're going to have to. Of course, some will probably start to lose interest when they see others pull the trigger and commit.

Give me: DGB, Neal, Gardner, and Javon Williams.

But shite. What's that end up being? Like 8 committed WRs?

That would be 7 I think. Just off the top of my head though and it's a pure guess but I think of the current receivers that Humphrey will leave and Whitehurst will get moved to defense. Of the receivers coming in, I can see Hawkins and Holmes moving to defense as well.

That would give us Hamilton, Horton, Herndon, Wade, Minor, Funderburke, Cobb, Cowan, Hatcher, DGB, Gardner and Williams which isn't a ton of receivers at all considering how much we rotate.

Of the new class you can then redshirt Cobb and Cowan at least which would give you top 5 of Hamilton, Horton, Wade, Gardner and DGB and then a second line of Minor, Funderburke, Herndon, Hatcher and Williams.

I really think you will see this FR class and last year overtake Horton and Herndon by the end of next season. While they have been good in their roles, I just think the talent coming in behind them is at a whole different level.

I'm almost of the opinion we need to rotate less receivers. I hate having more than 10% of our scholarships devoted to 1 position on the team.

Oh, and I think Horton is going to blow up next year. I think he's done everything expected of him. He's made some acrobatic catches.

We're not going to take 7 WR's, somebody will be a grade casualty, or be asked to look elsewhere.

Chris Bivins is announcing today at 2:15, but unless he has already talked to Coach Haynes, I doubt he comes here.

Chris Bivins stuck with USF, and signed with them. Props to him for sticking with the same school.

Joe Adams, Jarius Wright and Greg Childs.

We lose 128 catches, 1,851 yards and 14 TD's.

We bring back 104 catches, 1,354 yards and 5 TD's.

*This doesn't count RB's receiving #'s.
