The asian girls I've dated loved gambling & usually did pretty well @ the Casino, and they liked steaks more than seafood.

Blackjack for me. I'm too tight w/ my money to gamble big. If I get up 20 cents on a dollar in a penny slot I cash out. It's a 20% return and that's time to walk with a profit.
Once at the casino by the Arkansas River in Tulsa I hit on 19 and got a deuce, the f'n dealer wouldn't deal the damn card I had to cuss at the lady to make her deal the card. They walked me out cordially thinking I was counting, it was just dumb luck. Dealer was showing face card and no one else had drawn a face or a 2, just had a feeling.

Don't bet random numbers or red or black.
Bet your sections that pay 3:1. Bet 2 sections at a time and you have 66% of the board covered.
66% chance > 50/50 on red or black.

Craps is the way to go. Intimidating to learn but you just have to throw yourself in there. One of the lowest house odds. I still lose my arse most of the time though.

That's a solid way to slowly build up, no flash just results at the end of the day.

It takes a while. Going for the homerun in roulette is what kills people the whole "I have a 50% to put my last $100 down and double it!"
I'll do the occasional red/black or hit bet one section if it's due.
I've walked in several times with a mere $40 and tuned it into $200. Not big money but for a college student it's nice to have that extra money.
