It might take him more than a year to get use to the speed of SEC football. LSU signed the #1 juco OT in the '18 class. He started a few games his two years in BR. He struggled greatly with the speed of DEs he had to go against. He was a very important backup in '19's run to the title. He started a few games that season. Tigers had a much better juco Olineman in that class. Two year starter at guard that started as a rookie in NFL this past season. You never know about jucos. It's usually about a 50/50 shot.

Not exactly, even at 6'4-6'5 you have to get off the ground agood bit to be able to dunk the ball. Far from being "easy".

Can confirm. I'm 6'4" 205 lbs. Can grab rim somewhat easily but can't dunk.

I'm unsure if he will actually play at A&M, but it is nice to have depth. I agree it is always a crapshoot with JUCO's

He’s got 4 years to play. This isn’t a normal JUCO. High ceiling, low floor. I think we’ll develop him similar to how Jordan Mailata did at IMG and then with the Eagles.

I'm hopeful, but he's got a lot to learn. Some of the other OT's have been playing football for a very long time. High potential either way

This guy is anything but normal. Has never played a down of a real game in the US. He is an absolute athletic freakshow though. Combo of size, speed, and overall athleticism is extremely rare. He's also got tremendous drive and fire, overcoming some monster obstacles to get noticed and come here. I don't think you can compare him to other JUCO's or normal recruits because there is so little real football he has played. He has as much raw athletic talent as any OL recruit in the US though.

That said the list of freakshow guys that didn't play football until late and became amazing is long. Mike Evans was a 2 Star basketball player that played his Sr year of football at a horrible school and is now looking like he will be in Canton already and he is just 27 after breaking the record and having 1000 plus yards receiving his first 7 seasons in the League and just got a Ring.
