That had to be the most ridiculous recruiting violation theory I've ever heard. I have no doubt UGA is cheating like most of us are, probably more, but come on. Nothing like that would ever take place within 50 miles from campus and at least 200 miles from Kirby's exact location.

Where did the Easter egg thing come from?

A Miami board. They were upset that Khris Bogle keeps visiting us unofficially and started accusing everyone in the SEC of egregious cheating and I guess someone brought up Tyson Campbell.

Then another poster claimed that his cousin is connected at UGA (love how it's always someone's cousin lol) and he told this ludicrous Easter egg hunt story.

Miami pointing fingers at anyone for cheating is pretty hilarious.

maybe they would land more recruits if their fans got off the internet and actually went to games

Honestly, if I was running that AD, I could have Miami in the playoffs within 2 years. As valuable as a scholarship from Miami is ($64K per year, almost 6 times the average SEC school's cost), and the location, and the women, and the alumni base, etc etc etc, there's no reason Miami shouldn't pull a top 3 class every single year.

But their fans do suck

They brought Richt home, had them in playoff contention nearly all year, and they still couldn't fill their stadium. Would be a hell of an OV though

Oh, I took visit there, back in the 90s. A teammate and I were both being pursued by Miami and FSU (package offer). Facilities are really shitty, I mean like embarrassingly bad for a Tier 1 program. The campus is nice, and getting to mingle with the student body(bodies) was a plus.

Not really. We probably offer 200+ and know we are not going to accept some if they want to commit. Every program does.
That said, we will take them if everything falls apart and nobody else will come, but we offer plenty of kids that we would prefer to not have.

UGA is keeping GA kids at home, as they should. We don’t have to cheat to keep ‘em. But TN will have to cheat to steal ‘em.
