What was your other marquee win again?

Not a marquee win, but Vandy also finished in the top 25.

Do you guys not remember prior egg bowl? Basking muffins recruiting and demanding a change? You go 6-6 in year 5 but beat ol TSUN and croot'n is back where it needs to be.

It's like they've completely forgotten that they were lining up to suck Hud's dick a few weeks before the Egg Bowl.

Right after we blocked the punt for the touchdown a bunch of State fans sitting around me were talking about how he needed to be fired.

Again -- an assumption that can't really be made 2 years in.

It's far from an assumption; it's pretty self-evident at this point.

But hey, I won't argue with you if you're not yet convinced. Take a "the jury's still out" approach if you'd like. That's the safe thing to do, is it not?

Does it completely slip y'all's minds that we had 3 wins this year, 2 of them on the road, that were close to or better than any win Mullen has had in his tenure? Does the egg bowl bed shitting completely nullify that?

Does it slip your mind that Mullen finished year #2 ranked #15? So, what do you think you actually proved?

What I saw was an Ole Miss team that looked great at times, got exposed by Bama, and never adjusted to overcome that exposure offensively. I also saw you go from an attacking defense that scared me -- to a vanilla base defense that while decent overall wasn't any better than your first one -- with FAR MORE overall talent and experience on that side.

EDIT: You're rock hud. You're as hud as a diamond in an ice storm.

Our program is trending up. You know this, I know this, the rest of the SEC knows this.

Losing the Egg Bowl sucked, but it wasn't like it killed our program or its momentum.

Is our program not also trending up?

So, why are you looking for validation in a thread about a potentially elite MSU recruit that you wanted and essentially lost the first time he stepped onto our campus -- that could potentially have 3 to play 3?

Being honest, I'm still very skeptical of Muffin. We finished great, yes, but our recruiting is still sub par for this class. Things look better for 2015 but typically under Mullen when we've started out strong things end up turning to shite ie 2011 and last year. Mullen finishes strong with this next class and exceeds expectations on the field for once and I'll be back on the wagon 2010 style.

You still didn't beat anyone.

The lack of pass rush bothered me, but I'm not going to draw any conclusions after a year of being decimated by injuries.

Do you think freeze can manage players better than Nutt an O ? If so then STFU.

Maybe, maybe not. Time will tell.

But the more apt comparison is whether or not he can manage them better than Mullen. And, again, time will tell.
