Your average recruit rating is like .10 higher than ours. Don't really care that you have more recruits.

What I don't understand is why this year the NCAA investigation has taken such a toll. I mean they've been here 5 years. Oh and ESPN has state's class at 31... so yeah.

The NOA came out and the draft night shite. Not that hard to see that it's become more widely known than it previously was and that makes it easier for opposing coached to use it against us.

Eh, we loaded up on a heavy JUCO class, kind of deflates the "average". We also took a kicker, which for some stupid reason are never rated over high 70's.
But whatever, don't really care. Seeing the staff get the guys they went after is nice, State fans should be pumped about this. Shitload of talent at positions of need.

I thought the staff changes would have a bigger effect but everything you read and hear says the investigation is the reason why the class is bad this year.

The staff will have a big effect...once they have time to recruit and build relationships.
