I bet that Clowney and Tiny go 1-2 in the '14 Draft.

Richardson is the third best OT in the SEC.

Not much chance of a first rounder. IMO:

Chris Smith- 2nd-3rd
Travis Swanson- 3rd-4th (who knows with centers)
Byran Jones- 5th-6th
Kiero Small-6th-7th (again, who knows with FBs)

and i figure Zach Hocker will land somewhere as a udfa

Congratulations on linking an subjective yet inaccurate list. He will not be the 3rd OT drafted out of the SEC next years draft.

Alabama has had one of the top OTs off the board in 2009, 2011, and 2013. I like our chances again in 2014.

But they do like the way Alabama develops OTs.

Andre Smith 2009
James Carpenter 2011
D.J. Fluker 2013

And this matters how? CMU should've had no chance at having the top OT in the draft if this was relevant.

And Cyrus will probably be a top 10 pick, but Tiny is better and will be off the board before him.

IMO

Cyrus, Tiny, and Matthews could easily all go top 10. Splitting hairs at that point.

Physically - Tiny is the most imposing and gifted of the bunch. He's been way under the radar at this point in comparison to Matthews and Cyrus.

Because we've had 15 OL drafted under Nick Saban, including all five starters from the 2012 team by next April. Not to mention 5 in the first round alone.

And I'm sure a prospect from a small school will rise on the draft boards as they always do, but that's not really the point here.

Edit: 9 drafted and 6 as UDFAs.

Imposing? Of course. Gifted? I don't think so.

The point is the best player is going to be drafted regardless of previous success of getting players at the school/position drafted. So he could have the first OT off the board for the past 8 seasons and it would be irrelevant to this upcoming draft.

For his frame and size he moves as well as anyone. Wingspan of a giant.

D.J. Fluker has an 87 inch wingspan. That's larger than some NBA bigmen. Is Richardson that large?

Murray and Swann are probably the two best bets from UGA. NFL QB evaluation can be unpredictable so if Murray has another good year he can go anywhere from 1st to 3rd round. Swann is probably talented enough to get a first round grade, but I don't know whether his production will be high enough this year with opposing QBs targeting the more inexperienced areas of our secondary.

I guess Kenarious Gates might have a chance to sneak into the first round if it is as OL heavy as this year's first round was.
