And who are they?

We had 5.

Jessel Curry- i have heard is struggling a little, but that is kindof expected coming from 2a GA ball to the sec

Sanders- Read he has looked pretty good and once he learns his assignments and stops overrunning the ball, he is going to be a very good one. Have heard he has great work ethic and a non stop motor.

Cam Newton- Likely #1 starter. Good arm, good legs, great potential.

Roszell Gayden- Little banged up so hasnt been playing much, but will battle for the starting RT job

Brandon moseley- Will also battle for the RT job with Gayden. Heard he has a good motor and in great shape. Has been playing fairly well while Gayden has been hurt

Also, what recruit that did not enroll early do you think will have the biggest impact?

For Auburn, I think it will be Jeff Whitaker

Good thread by the way.

Our two EEs are both from MGCCC, DE Wayne Dorsey and FS/SS Damien Jackson. Both have done very well and will be starters before it is all said and done.

Dorsey is an athletic (6'8 255) rush end, who needs to put on about 10-12 pounds but will be on the field from the get-go.

D Jack is 6'2 195 and before the spring there were questions about his speed at the safety position. However, he has shown a huge propensity for making plays, being in position on a consistent basis, and adapting well to the speed of this level......which is nice.

Long story short, I am pretty pumped about our EEs.

Newton is looking good but still needs work on his mechanics but he is much improved. He should make great strides over the summer. he must work on his ball control, due to his size he feels abit invincible back there and can hold the ball like it is a loaf of bread.

Curry is good but has to learn to use his instincts he is trying to think too much and is getting faked out. He is getting better.

Gayden has an injury keeping him from being 100% but he is struggling some as he is left handed and is having to work on his blocks more.

Mosley is great, much better than initially expected if we had a game tomorrow he'd likely be our starter at RT. That said the offensive line is lightyears ahead of last year.

Florida had 11.

29 Joshua Shaw CB 6-0 189
Spring Ball was good for Josh, who has been really good, and at times, really bad. His potential is off the charts. He will see time on the field this year on the 2nd team.

68 Leon Orr DT 6-4 324
Did not play much until the end of spring due to injury. He is fast off the ball, and agile for a man his size. He needs a lot of work on technique, but could be a force in the future.

77 Ian Silberman OL 6-4 271
Future ALL SEC tackle. The guy has everything you want at the position, just needs to add a few pounds. Will Redshirt this year.

14 Jaylen Watkins CB 5-11 180
Had a strong spring, and has pretty much locked down the #2 spot behind Janoris Jenkins.

83 Solomon Patton WR 5-8 171
Had a great early spring and was dynamic both returning, catching, and (surprise) running the ball out of certain formations. Sadly, he got hurt and missed the last 6 or so practices of spring. He may play in the Fall, but I smell a redshirt.

13 Trey Burton QB 6-2 219
Exceeded everyone's expectations. He throws an ugly ball, but he can run, oh, and he runs the team amazingly well as a True Freshman QB. Even though he is the back up by defaul, he really earned that spot behind Brantley this spring with his advanced play.

32 Gerald Christian TE 6-3 240
Probably the most physically ready to play I've ever seen a HS senior, this guy could have made an immedaite offensive impact if not for the emergence of Jordan Reed at TE. He has a bright future at Florida with his blend of size and athleticism.

22 Matt Elam S 5-10 204
Tore it up from the start. Will start at Nickle when the season starts. He is really tough against the run, but needs a little bit of work in coverage.

48 Neiron Ball LB/DE 6-2 214
Was recruited as a DE, and played both positions this spring. He is too small to play end now, and he will likely redshirt, but he was extremely effective rushing the passer from a stand up LB position. Probably will RS though due to the depth at the position this year.

81 Robert Clark WR/KR 5-8 172
Everyone thought this guy was just to secure Matt Elam's signature, but go figure, the guy can play. He'll be in the rotation right away at WR and really took advantage of Patton's injury. He can catch the ball, run it from the backfield, and return punts and KOs. He'll have a good career at Florida, starting this fall.

39 Jordan Haden S 5-11 198
Tough, and savy like his brother before him, but with all the depth at safety, he'll be relegated to second string this year, which is a good thing. He's not quite ready yet. I doubt he gets a RS though due to lack of depth but I hope he does.

Don't expect to see any EE's make an impact on the field other than special teams.

But, Cade Foster made all of his field goals in the scrimmage today with the long being 33 yards.

Phillip Sims went 15-19, 135 yrds. and a TD IIRC. Several players have commented on the progress he's made so far. Redshirt coming for him though.

And John Fulton has been listed as one of the defensive leaders when looking at stats after both scrimmages. I'm more excited about him over anyone else.

But, like I said. I don't look for EE's to make an impact outside of special teams.
