Oh, look...and eagle is flying over our heads! That is the coolest thing I've ever seen! What a majestic bird of prey!

You just don't see eagles anymore.

Been to Texas AM....didn't care for it one bit. Student section located in the upper tier...right above the visitors...and they throw shite on you all game long. Not cool.
Ole Miss...somewhat more aloof fans, not to eager to help you, in my experience...but not ugly or mean.
Bama...surprisingly friendly. Helped us find parking and food. Nice, for the most part, even in the stadium.

Georgia '93
We beat the dawgs on a final minute goal line dive for a TD by Brandon Bennett, to the chagrin of the legendary Larry Munson, and the entire trip down from the highest reaches of the upper deck Georgia fans are trying to fight everyone in garnet and black. Cups were thrown, punches were thrown, we were in redneck hell. I vowed not to go back to Athens until...

Georgia '03
The dawgs handed us our arse in this one, in the middle of a downhill spiral that would culminate in Holtz's departure the following year. Once again, Georgia fans were rude and obnoxious; not as many fights this time but constant profanity and rudeness. I will never go back there again.

Kentucky '96
I didn't really get the full tailgate experience at this game, a buddy of mine and I decided to go on the spur of a moment and drove up that day. Kentucky fans were cordial, but there wasn't much of an atmosphere at the game. Maybe a basketball game next time.

Tenn '03
This was a great game, we lost a heartbreaker in OT. Dustin frickin' Colquitt beat us with his punting, pinning us deep all night. This was by far the best experience I've had on an SEC road trip, the fans were fun to party with before and after the game and we even got flashed by a talented co-ed. I would definitely go back to Knoxville for a game.

Next week a friend and I are going to Starkville for our game against MSU, we will be there all day Friday and Saturday so looking forward to meeting some fun fans there.

If you had to hang around FSU fans once every year, you would believe.

Uhhhh...we see bald Eagles all over Missouri. They are commonplace. They fly down from the north during the winter and roost in Missouri trees along the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. They hang out in trees around Table Rock Lake and Lake of the Ozarks.

They are literally everywhere.

Hell, I went canoeing in late January down in Arkansas on the Kings River near Eureka Springs. Trees looked like they were blooming giant white flowers in the middle of winter, when in fact it was bald eagle heads roosting. One eagle even flew from tree-to-tree along our entire canoe trip keeping a close eye on us.

Eagles aren't that special, bruh. They're just big birds.

it happened. a lot of people were in shock to see that. he was obviously blasted drunk. all it took was one person to start pushing. we all followed suit.

True, but it's undeniably cool when one of those big birds circles the stadium with 80K people cheering and lands on the field. That's not typical eagle behavior.

Ole Miss in '12 and '13: fans were very respectful but I wouldn't say friendly. Nobody offered us any of their warmed up chicken fingers, for example. Would have hurt my feelings if I had any feelings. But that aloofness probably had more to do with their made up upper class bullshite than anything else. We had no trouble after either game, which was pleasantly surprising since A&M basically stole both of those games with an assist from Hugh Freeze.

USC: Enjoyed everything about that trip. Friendly fans, before and after. Will definitely go back.

MSU: Friendly before the game. And then... those damn cowbells can suck my balls. Guy sitting next to me was a Jackson lawyer who warned me, "You're gonna hate me before the end of the game." And he was right! Though it's the closest venue for me, I won't be going back before the SEC straightens that crap out. Most annoying gimmick I have ever experienced.

I'm a lot later to the party than you'd anticipated, I'd bet.

Well, I'll never deny that I can turn from Southern Belle to Southern Bitch faster than Boom can go superpsycho on some poor, unexpecting, usually elderly ref...but I'm not trashy.

I just got around to reading this post and I had to laugh at the "ghetto southern white girl trash accent". I was born, raised, and outside of 4 years, have lived here every day of my life and have only been subjected to this little abortion of all things pronunciation a handful of times, thank the good Lord above!

I am wearing a sundress as I type this so I score points in the area of what he was expecting us to look like, anyway.

See..you totally did not get the trashy response you were hoping for! Hell, it wasn't even bitchy. Must be something wrong with me today...

alcohol definitley changes behavior. I can see a drunk guy stumbling around and knocking into a girl and her falling down. I just can't really see a guy squaring up and facing a little 8 year old girl, extending both his arms, and pushing her down.

I would say was more of your first scenario. most people didn't see it. all they saw was him entering the pot-o-gold and the girl on the ground crying and her mother said she was "pushed" down. of course mob mentality takes over.

kinda stupid as it was the only port-o-let in the immediate area.

Can't agree with you there. On the spectrum of behavior, I've probably experienced a majority of the lot but I have never, ever acted in a manner any way, shape, or form even remotely related to trashy.

Oh shite. Well, once. Yep..I think that occurrence qualified as trashy. Damn it. I'd almost hit submit and then the memory came a'callin...Damn you, Killz!

It was for her. I walked away with not a pleat out of place and hem still perfect in my cheerleading skirt, my sweater without a single loose stitch or string, poms not missing a strand, Auburn hair slightly messy but in that way that puts it in the "hot mess" category...cheeks flushed, lips swollen from biting on them while ripping into her, green eyes ablaze from finally dispensing of the desire to put her in her place.... Her, though? She didn't fare quite as well.
