No, don't lose to two shitty teams and get curb stomped by one of them. There's a difference.
No, it isn’t. Or USC would be in. They didn’t lose to a team outside the top 15. SMU lost to the only 2 top 25 teams they played, and barely beat Duke after turning the ball over 6 times. Your hate for Bama is clouding your judgement…put in USC if you hate Bama, but choosing SMU will ruin non-conference scheduling.
Edit: I don’t really count the LSU loss that was “given” to USC. USC would destroy SMU

It’s fine because all you have to say in the end is that if you wouldn’t have lost multiple games, you wouldn’t be in the position to miss out. It’s a lot better than 3 teams going undefeated and trying to decide which Auburn should be left out.

Would just piss off the 25th team...
We have proven that for every 4 teams selected, 1 is pissed.
If this holds true, selecting 12 should piss off 3. Yep. Holds true.
So selecting 24 would piss off 6.

But I would hope unbiased folks woild acknowledge how silly it is to put SMU in
I would hope that you would acknowledge how silly it is to be debating Alabama vs SMU for the 12th seed.
