Schad posted his article. Auburn not, mentioned.

"Denton was trying his hardest to get Frank Herron, a 2013 recruit, to come to Mississippi State," De'Vinner said. "He asked me to call his mom and say if he committed to State he could get her a better job. He also told me if Brandon Hill, who did not qualify at Alabama, committed to State, he could get him eligible because of a Mississippi State booster that was a counselor in his school. It comes back to pimping kids. And I wouldn't do it."

LINK

Had heard for a long time that it was MSU that had JRs grade changed.

It is very hard to move money around illegally without getting caught. I know because I work in the field. In the case with no subpoena power, wouldn't you think it would of been easier for NCAA to find that Cam did get paid with all the news articles and rumors flyin around?

It is not hard if it is done correct - there are a lot of departments in a bank, and personal that you do not see just by walking into your local branch. Wealth management groups that are lending money on stated income with 0 collateral, these type loans are not closed inside the walls of a Bank Branch, and proceeds can be wired to any account that you want them to be placed in.

Well that's cool and all, but

I'm tired of these troll posts by these MSG board "insiders"

Dafuq, I'm right on more crap I say and I'm just guessing. They're being "told" bull shite and claim a superstar status until the news actually hits. Can't we just lynch one of them? So the wannabe "insiders" will go away too

Slippery Slope...this is what Joe Schad tweeted after Brandon Marcello tweeted that. There's so much conflicting BS going on.

Joe Schad ?@schadjoe
To be absolutely clear, Byron De'Vinner agreed to on-record talk today after more than 30 days of off-record talks and texts and a meeting

I found these two parts of the story, well interesting if you will.

quote:

"Will Redmond is a kid that was basically taken advantage of by a booster and by an assistant coach," De'Vinner said on the radio show.

quote:

Yahoo! Sports reported Wednesday that De'Vinner received a complimentary stay at a Mississippi golf resort while Redmond was on his official recruiting visit. Yahoo! said Herring arranged for the room, which is a violation of NCAA rules. Yahoo! reported that De'Vinner showed them documentation of the complimentary room, but said that he didn't think any of the Mississippi State coaches knew about it, other than Mirando.

Hmmmmmmm...

Me thinks Will was taken advantage by someone else as well, but what do I know.

Schad is supposed to have some article coming. It was supposed to be today, but they haven't released it. not sure why. Perhaps concern that it would get buried under the ND news.

Schad has his whole story ready to go based on off the record conversations with DeVinner. Today, Schad had a for the record interview scheduled with Byron to confirm previous statements and DeVinner supposedly backed down and said Nope......

So this evening DeVinner and Schad have been in a He Said,,,,,She Said Twitter war that now involves at least 4 beat writers covering the story -

just wondering if W&L has weighed in yet on memphis... we've heard the drunk, homosexual ramblings of TennStud, but I'm waiting on the all-knowing wizard of the bama interwebs.

He has a gag order placed on him by the FBI and he's sitting on the information. As soon as their investigation wraps, W&L is unleashing hell on earth.

There is also a Fraud and Anti money laundering department that monitors all accounts including wealth management group accts, trusts, and everything internally and externally. You really think regulators that come in would let that type of stuff slide by? I hope I don't need to go pull stats on the penalties for Failure to meet compliance procedures because they are extremely severe.

What Shade released last night was only things that transpired yesterday with Fat Albert making his radio rounds.

Everybody over here has their mind made up already. Nothing you or nTy can post will change that.

I am not talking about the bank being involved with money laundering, If I made you an unsecured loan for say 100k, and you signed the correct docs, I have no control over how you spend the money, or who you give it too. Regulators/State Auditors could care less about the loan, as long as you have everything documented

That's not Schad's article. That's an article that uses Schad as a source. It cites Schad's interview.

Schad is working on an overall Memphis story. This is part of it. Not saying it is bad (in fact, I've said that most dot expect it to be bad for AU), but Schad has an actual in-depth article he's been working on. It will mention AU (AU was contacted on Monday for comment on certain aspects of it) but it is shaping up to be worse for State.

Where are you getting your info.... PM said on Tuesday that Auburn had not been contacted by any media outlet.
