It's so pathetic Alabama associates themselves with this show. Makes the program even trashier.

So a brother of a Bama player is going to tell an Auburn fan how Bama cheats? Ok
Brain working a little slow tonight? I said I know the guy very well who paid him. I grew up playing ball with his brother so I would screw with him about it he just smiled.

I do know a former player that played basketball for a team up north. He is from my hometown. He was recruited by bama and said" they won't pay me enough, and didn't like the coach." He got a new car for the team he played with. Told me best thing was walking into locker room after the game with couple hundred dollars in his locker if he had a good night. Used to love the envelopes in the mail with no name also. So i think it goes on with any big time program. It's a matter of not getting caught.

So for it to matter, a Bama guy paying a player tells an Auburn fan. Ok

No more trashier than the empty matter between your ears.

Makes a kot of sense to me. Pay a player illegally under the table, then put said illegal arrangement in writing, and finally go blab about it to some boog who then can put it on a message board and even give names if he wants to. Happens at every school.
So... whens the last time you checked the NCAA's subpoena power? They can request the contract but that doesn't mean they get it. Cash transactions with a Leger for amounts given can be hidden real well.

Here's the deal Reply As JGT reported quite accurately, this is nothing new. Trooper and Luper have been off the road over a secondary violation. Old news. And somehow this is a big revelation the week of the Iron Bowl, just before we are about to go hire a new coach? What a shocking turn of events (yeah, right). Will something come out of all this stuff in Memphis? I do not believe that to be the case at this time. There is always a chance something new could come up when the NCAA is involved, but as of now I see nothing to make me think this is anything more than the NCAA checking into a player's transcript. Remember, we are the ones that caught the problem and questioned the transcript, not the NCAA. Maybe this story just dropped in the lap of Yahoo Sports this morning, but I doubt it. This was leaked to hurt us going into a coaching search and the heart of recruiting season. This hurts our chances of keeping Trooper and Luper, IMO, because the new HC might be a little scared of the heat he could take and/or the fear of the unknown. This also hurts our chances a little when it comes to hiring Petrino, simply because it's a bold hire and Gogue/Jacobs are not known for being bold. And trust me, Alabama does NOT want us to hire Petrino. That's a fact. Like with Cam Newton, we are guilty in the eyes of the masses, and that's just what Alabama wants. Flame away, but that's the way I see it. Well played Myans, errr, REC.

Are you talking about cash transactions at a bank? Yes they can be hidden but it would be reported for unknown source of cash or suspicious cash transactions, depending on value/volume of activity. They wouldn't know the true source/purpose of funds but would be reported to the government.
