and that as long as they play their game nobody in the SEC can stop them?
This is directly tied to Coach Pinkell's public (and private most likely) statements about not having to alter recruiting philosophy and O scheme for SEC. Well, fair enough, he may be right. They, and we, will find out this year.

I hear you, Jafo. I know you guys are a bit sensitive due to the heavy dose of "hazing" as the new guys on the block.
I think the physicality of the SEC is what sets it apart from other conferences, and this is the biggest thing Mizzou and A&M have to worry about. And you won't know how your team is holding up until later in the year. You could both start the year as 10-2 caliber teams but finish the year limping as 6-6 caliber teams.

The fact that a player is saying "nobody in the SEC can stop us" means they don't know shite about the present day SEC or where they fit into the grand scheme.
Here's the deal. You won't "execute" your game plan against Alabama or LSU because their defense will be in the backfield, making your players their bitches, play after play.
The nation sat and actually wondered whether Michigan would upset Alabama last weekend. Seasoned SEC fans (who are perceived as arrogant) knew how ridiculous and fricking laughable the idea was.
Ignorance is a defense for Mizzou this year. That will all go away in a short time.

I usually only care if the players are doing it on the field. Talk is cheap.

I agree, but in the meantime I dont mind the fighting back.

Bama will walk in there and look like a team from the god damned NFC East, and their eyes will open. Saban will name his score. Its called big boy football for a reason.
My team lost two games last season, and finished third in our division, and fifth in the nation. We know what we're up against, and you will never hear our players whining about "respect".
Bama was on a different level than us, and we could have beaten anybody else in the nation.
And yes, I left out LSU because I hate you MFers.

The title game for LSU was serious locker room issues! Thank God those issues have graduated and moved on!! No more problems...Everyone with any sense knew LSU was better than what the played. Mentally not in the game which is crazy i know, but fact. We beat ourselves before walking on the field, Bama didn't have to beat us, we did it to ourselves mentally. Few people know what actually went on in that locker room
This is the new propaganda?

Our secondary fight song used to be Dixie for frick's sake. We changed that in '69 because we are a little more progressive than some people, but it is our heritage.
Missouri's band used to play Dixie as well.

Sorry, but I disagree. I would rather they keep this smack talk under wraps, away from the media. I bet Pinkel agrees with this. Let this shite they have been hearing fester and boil inside of them, and then let it out on the field this weekend.
Talk is indeed cheap. We come from the Show me state, so show me how good you are against the SEC.

Only the truth! We got our butts whipped but there was some crazy inside stuff going on. Not an excuse just a fact.

Bama and LSU can run their mouths because the can back it up! Missou coming in and running their mouth is like the new kid showing up in school trying to fit in. You keep referrning to Georgia as old man football, well young man, I hope that old man kicks the living shite out of you. Earn it on the field, not in the paper.

See my thing is, UGA is already going to be fired up for this game. I dont think a comment or two hurts anybody except give the perception that we wont be pushed around. I want the players to have a spine.
