The real imposter was Indiana not SMU. They had everyone fooled on the committee.

It's a B1G led committee. They weren't fooled. They propped them up and knew exactly what they were doing.

Even matching them against ND was them hedging on the fact ND is average and they hoped they would beat them.

They were setting up for a B1G sweep of 4 teams in the final 8.

So the last 2 decades of absolute domination doesn’t mean anything, gotcha

Correct. Why would it?

Let’s judge it based on a year where the best SEC team just lost their starting QB
ND may be playing w as many as 6-8 starters out including a couple of all Americans so let’s call that a wash
the CFP committee sent the 3rd best SEC team on the road to OSU in a travesty of seeding (and I hate UT). Good call

Wouldn’t OSU have 4 losses playing in the SEC? They ‘d be an average team so shouldn’t be a problem for Tenner ( current getting their asses kicked btw)

I’m sure we can judge based on this year’s results, while ignoring all

the evidence of the past and that most blue chip recruits or NFL draft picks play in the SEC

Why do you keep bringing up the past ? How is that relevant? As your boy Saban says “ new year new team”
