Not unless we approved it. Which we wouldn't.

frick the expansion. I'm for exactly the opposite. we need to kick SC, Arky, atm, miz out and go back to 10 team conference. seriously

I loved the SEC at 10 teams. Very powerful core teams of my youth

Alabama
Auburn
Georgia
Florida
LSU
Kentucky
Tennessee
MSU
Ole Miss
Vandy

One school's major concerns don't mean anything. It wouldn't for any school unless it is the special category of schools trying to keep the state to themselves.

But aTm could do absolutely nothing

Slive made an investment in A&M. If A&M thinks adding those parasites is bad for business, he will respect our request. Obviously, he isn't obligated to do as we say, but he is smart enough to know you don't go pissing off one of your biggest business partners.

It's not ultimately Slive's decision... and no, we are not worried about what you think. What are you going to do? Leave? It's free and there's the door. There's a reason there isn't a buyout in the SEC...

You keep thinking this is a monarchy like the one you just left - where you were a peasant, yet now you think you are king. If the SEC decided that Oklahoma would be good for the SEC(it would), they would be added. Wouldn't make a damn bit of difference if A&M liked it or not.

If we made enough noise (we would), they wouldn't want to destabilize the conference for 250,000 TV sets in Tulsa.

Destabilize? EL OH EL...I have heard it all now!

You can raise all the hell you want - What are you going to do about it? Exactly. You think the SEC is reliant on A&M? A&M is reliant on the SEC. Take your place at the table and shut up.

I would hope not. What are the benefits for the SEC?

Adding two Oklahoma schools adds far more subscribers than NC State and Virginia Tech.

That's the point. The SEC will not add two schools from the same state, it's the same market. That is why Va/Va Tech and NC State will be the next expansion targets. That would cover the entire southern US as SEC markets.

You're dumb if you believe that. The Carolina market and the Virgina market are huge and are exactly what the SEC is looking at. OK and OKSt? What?!

No thanks. Most natural additions need to be Clemson and VT.

I'd rather grab Oklahoma City with OU,but I do like the FU to the buckeyes this would propose; however the SEC is already nationally broadcast. If I wanted an Ohio school, bring me tOSU.

Clemson brings nothing the SEC doesn't already have with USC. A Va school and a NC school will be what's next for the SEC.
