Would the SEC consider targeting Cincinnatti?

Sure, they suck, and I don't know how their attendance is, but Rutgers proved that strategically growing your footprint is a consideration for these conferences.
They are one of the "big fish" leftover from the Big East.
Contiguous to Kentucky, and taps into Ohio, a relatively population-rich midwestern state.
Is being in a population-rich football state enough to get them a look? Obviously with Ohio State in the fold, the B1G has less to gain by scooping them up.
ETA: To be clear I'm more interested in your take on the business side of it than personal preference. I don't think it would excite anyone.

No, the SEC already has that market with UK. Cincy is not a draw at all. Expansion will be a Virginia school and NC State likely.

I don't have a link, but I thought I read a school's state-location adds to the amount per subscriber from that state the SEC collects.
Such as, the B1G network gets more per subscriber simply because the school is in that state.

VT and NC State should be the next 2 schools added.. Then move Mizzou to the West like they should be.

Too many better schools still out there
If you take them it is because you want to erode southern Ohio and eat into Ohio State who has a virtual monopoly because they have such a financial advantage.
With Rutgers and Maryland the B1G got single state schools the same way the SEC got Missouri.

No. Same reason Mizzou doesn't belong. North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kansas, and Oklahoma are already clearly more SEC than Mizzou.
