Kirby Smart already turned down UGA, his Alma Mater, but you think he'll come to Ole Miss?

He turned UGA down for a coordinator job

Malzahn almost went to Vandy last year, what makes you think he wouldn't come to Ole Miss for 2.5-3 million?
When did Smart turn down UGA for the head coaching job?

My god, the southern miss fan base has come out on the rant in full force like their attendance at games. Went last year with the wife to their homecoming since she is a graduate of that fine establishment and we ended up at Crescent City before the half. There were more people watching the state game on tv than at the USM game.

I live in Hattiesburg and this is 100% true.

Love me some Crescent City as well.

Isn't being DC at Bama a better job than DC at UGA?

Although the $ figure was much rumored, Malzahn turned down 3+ at Vandy. Better up the offer!

I honestly couldn't tell you. I like him because he runs one of the greatest defenses in the country year in and year out.

With the talent they have on defense at Bama it's more the players and their talents than the coaching IMO

If they offered Gus $3 million why did they settle on Franklin and only pay him $1.25 mil

He is just a big pussy. All talk.

Did you notice how he jumped Richt, but ran from Petrino like a scared kitten?

What's there to say? Franklin is a skeered-e-cat.

As I said this is beneath you.....You're clouded by the fine coaching job "Mullens" is trying to sell you fan base.

If they had any sense they would, but....They think Sherman hung the moon.

Franklin probably is a better coach than Sherman. I admit, I just personally don't like him.
