Do you even watch the game. he threw a lot of really great passes under duress and with great coverage for completions with no name receivers against Alabama. He is not a bad QB.

I watched the games. Saw the all-22 cameras for some of them. He played behind a great OL and wouldn’t have been under pressure much if he didn’t scramble out of the pocket all the time. Towards the end of 2016 and all 2017, he would not throw to a receiver unless the guy was wide open. Even then, on some of the drives there were some guys not named Ridley running but he didn’t threw them the ball because he was only focused on Ridley.

No name WRs my arse. Ridley should had way more then under 1K yards. Robert Foster put up 4x as many yards as a rookie in the NFL then he did in 2017. Cam Sims also made an NFL roster. The 2017 offense also featured Jeudy and Devonta Smith.

You’re right he isn’t a bad QB but he plays one of two ways. Either carefree which leads to big plays but also a little too many turnovers. Or a really nervous passer who stares down receivers, doesn’t go through his progressions, rather run, or get out of the pocket and throw the ball away. I’d take the first over the second but he played like the second for most of time he started at Bama.

He would probably win the Heisman. His inexperienced but talented receivers are not helping very much right now.

Just wondering if Mond could win at Bama with our receivers. What would Bama's record be with him?

Mond has attempted 51 passes that traveled beyond 20 yards and completed 17 of them...over 38 games. Jones completed 6...last game alone.

Saban would have never started Mond.
