Would Mond be great at Bama?

Just wondering if Mond could win at Bama with our receivers. What would Bama's record be with him?

Would be Jalen Hurts from 17. Could run the ball, but couldn't throw an accurate pass down the field to save his life.

Anyone can win at Alabama! Oops. Almost anyone can win this a so so quarterback that will win your team a game and lose your team a game at any given week!

My suspicion is he would look a lot like Jalen Hurts' first two seasons. He'd put up some big stats against the weak competition and then in the biggest games he would struggle to push the ball down the field.
And in all reality he would likely never start for Bama. Saban simply does not play QB's who turn the ball over.

Hell Blake Sims gave Bama 3,500 yards, 30 tds, and an SEC Championship

Mond has an I3 processor where an I5 is required.

Not great but if you're asking if Mond would be better if he had better wr's to throw to, then yes. Any qb would be, assuming Bama had the better receivers as in this case.

Do you even watch the game. he threw a lot of really great passes under duress and with great coverage for completions with no name receivers against Alabama. He is not a bad QB.

Would his head be there also?

It feels like he has been playing for a damn decade

He might be the greatest 4th string QB in the conference at Bama.

If Mond started 3 years at Bama with that talent around him there would be a shitload of people wanting to run Saban’s arse off.
That sums it up.

The backup looks pretty good for AM. I don’t see how Mond is still the guy. He just isn’t that good.

This thread is speculation. Any opinion is valid. It's not absurd to think Mond would be succeeding more at Bama. Jones wasn't a highly touted guy and look at him. Last 3 HC have won NC at LSU, very logical to think Fisher would be doing better there.
Other ones are about facts. Those are what they are. Not my fault factual conversations aren't fun for Aggies.

Hurts barely threw for 2,000 yards in 17. A quarter of that was behind the LOS. Hurts would make one read, run the the right and throw the ball away. He was an awful passer in 16 and 17.

Are Aggies blaming the 80 years on Mond? Might as well at this point.
