yes, now do the dorm named after General Wade Hampton and the fitness center named after Strom Thurmond on SC's campus. 
My screenname is based on the building, not the man. The building is a symbol of the university. I have no problem with the name being changed. I have proposed Watson-Renfrow Hall.
Btw, there is a statue of Tillman near the Horseshoe on the state house grounds.

Well, Bama lost their first playoff game tOSU. But you are thinking too small. These programs have all had better and longer runs than Clemson's current run, and that is why they are considered better jobs. These are the true blue bloods of college football. Clemson is a good program right now, but Clemson has to sustain it a lot longer than 3 years to be mentioned with the big boys. All of these schools would have a better than 50/50 shot of getting Dabo if they offered him.

OUtside of OSU, several of those programs have struggled or been medicore over a significant period of time.
I think Clemson is in better recruiting location than all of them. why wouldn't kids want to play in a warmer climate than the ones up north.
Here is number of national titles since 1980 for these colleges:
CLemson 2
ND 1
USC 1
Michigan 1
OSU 2
Texas 1
Oklahoma 2
Florida State has 3 and Miami has 4 since 1980 and you didn't mention them.
