LSU colors are cool. Sort of remind me of Mardi Gras. Fits with that area of the country. If a team based in Georgia etc, had those colors, it would be weird.
The worst colors in the SEC are A&M and Moo State. those jerseys are the color of a bloody turd.

I Googled the number of college programs with purple and gold as their uniforms and the number was less than five as I recall and I had only heard of two of them LSU and Prairie View A&M. Out of thousands of colleges, nobody wants to wear those colors.

LSU's worst uniform is hands down better than A7M's best. Sorry your school colors are hideous and yet inexplicably overused.

I'll agree with you about the A. I hate it. Script lettering is feminine and has no place in a manly sport like football. The classic logo is still the best.
