Idk what y'all are talking about it without a shadow of a doubt is Matt Simms

You win. Matt Simms was the worst. I just went back and looked at his numbers. 8 career TD's and 8 career INT's. 98.7 yards per game. No doubt he's the worst.
Ainge still kills me, but the numbers say otherwise. Crompton still sucks, but Simms is undoubtedly the worst.

Sol Graves, Craig Nall, Josh Booty, JJ. Take your pick.

Makes you wonder for sure. Jury still out.

Yikes -- Mark Farris in a landslide. Lost his starting job, as a senior, to a QB platoon -- after he started every game his soph and jr years.
Finished his career with 18 TDs and 18 Int. Guy had a decent soph year, then regressed each year after. Complete bust.

They picked him. Not me. Maybe he improves. Hasn't played too much QB.
You must be young. Pullig was the worst that I ever saw, and it wasn't close. Only QBs that even approached him were Long and Harris. RC existed on defense alone, and never had any QBs worth a shite except McNeal.
Every single QB Fran or Sherman recruited was better.

Did he throw 2 or 3 pick sixes against GA?
Lee is so much worse than JJ its not even close. Combined (rushing and passing) JJ had 6,014 yards and 46 TD's. He also had 20 picks.
Combined Lee had 3768 yards, 31 TD's and 21 INTS. How many pick sixes?
Talk about a boy that had butterflies in his head!
and yet the seasons he had after that were much better. Lee being in the convo is ignorant.

Two stick out though, Erik Ainge and Crompton. Crompton probably leads the pack, but Ainge isn't far behind.
and yet both were NFL QB's. Again ignorant.

Lee 2008 averaged over 200 yds a game and our offense as a whole averaged 35 points a game.
It was our defense that was atrocious that year.
Although the QB situation was bad but Lee wasn't even the worst QB. Hatch was much worse.

I can't believe how many LSU fans have forgotten about Josh Booty.

Irrelevant to this thread. I don't care that he singlehandedly gave away the Georgia game or threw 7 pick sixes, or averaged 170 yards instead of 200.
He is unfairly judged on one year, and the title of the thread is Worst QB all time for your school. His performances in 2010 & 2011 COMPLETELY negate his mentioning in this thread.
Like I said, look no further than JJ for the all time worst QB.

As a career starter JL was terrible.
so one year negates 2 good years? What kind of an argument is that?

Derrick fricking Dooley. You have got to be shitting me. How he ever got that job is beyond me.
Seriously? You owe him quite a bit for giving your Vols the foundation they have now. He was 23-10 in the SEC. Ranked in the top 25 every year he was there except his 1st.

Doesn't matter, for the context of this thread.

Point being if they went to the NFL they obviously weren't that bad.

He never played in the NFL. And he finished at LSU with less than a 50% completion rate, 24 touchdowns, and 34 interceptions.
JJ had a 58% completion rate, 34 tds, and 20 interceptions.

His name is Jordan Jefferson. If we had a good QB from 2010 to 2011, we would have been on fire.
