answer me

I believe that Miles is a mediocre coach at best. I had the balls to proclaim that Chizik was a terrible coach after he had gone undefeated.
There is a difference between being a good coach and having great coordinators/player talent. Looking at record alone is too surface-level. When Peyton Manning had no Superbowl wins was Trent Dilfer a better QB because he had one? No, it's much more complicated than that.

Chizik and miles paths are totally opposite

Many saw chizik as a good coach because he had a fantastic qb

Many see miles as a bad coach because he hasn't had a good qb (when he did he of course won an nc)

The fact that he went to an NC 4 years post his first one with an entirely different team and shitty qbs is a testament to him. Even still he does everything so unconventionally on and off the field that it frustrated the crap out of people. Going against logic makes people think something is wrong with you. No way an illogical goof can be good. Good coaches are stern and serious and mean and dicks, that's the way it's always been

Miles is going on his 9th year.

weakest argument on earth. there has never been a coach, in any sport, that has won anything of significance without talent. Miles has been doing it for 9 years now. at some point you just have to admit you were wrong or continue to look like a dumbass....it looks like you're going with the latter

I hear ya ...but confusing balls with brains has been the downfall of many men.

He backed into a title game with two losses and got destroyed in the other. That's good, it doesn't make him great.

Meh, any coach will pound your shitty cow college like a cheap whore year in year out.

ETA: Even Hallman and DiNardo had winning records against State.

Coker
Brown
Stoops

Stoops should be on here for almost single-handedly putting Boise State on the map and his knack for getting his poop pushed in at least once a year.
