Game is over. Bama needed Briski to be dominant - their offensive approach isn’t made for playing from behind against elite teams.

I agree. I found it humorous this week when certain social media accounts begged for Alabama fans to apologize to him. He’s consistently made it to OKC - and he’s consistently bowed out against the top teams.
I respect him for winning a title (13 years ago, btw) but 16 appearances, one title isn’t exactly top of the sport. Without OU there this year, a game one loss feels like a lost opportunity.
Sadly this feels like Groundhog Day for Murphy. I’ve been following since the Van Brakle days - this is who we are.
