Do Mississippi fans reach the acceptance stage of grief finally? They’ve been toggling back and forth between denial and anger for a while. Does acceptance come when they watch Golding as a HC for an entire season?

Ole Miss showed that it's still about the Jimmys and Joes. If they can keep the band together, they'll be fine next year.

Ole Miss showed you it’s about the schedule you are given. Beating Georgia was a great win but avoiding virtually anyone with a pulse in the first round and not having to play in Atlanta is a major benefit. Honestly, not having to play an extra game against a very good opponent is the way to go

They’ll be “fine” as in 8-4 or 9-3 with that tougher schedule next year. It’ll drop off more the further they move away from Kiffin then their NIL fund will start to get smaller.

I think it'll be bargaining until about 4th game of next season. Then it'll be denial briefly, and once LSU finishes them off, it'll be acceptance.

If Lane beats them in Oxford next year the whole town may be burned down by their own fans.
