5 years is a long time in this business.
There may be only 3-4 current coaches still at their current job in that time.

Five years is a long time in college football these days. I'd say at least half will be gone in 5 years.

Oklahoma will come calling soon enough. Plus, they can pay him more.

I would not be surprised if Kirby doesn't retire in 5-6 years. I certainly hope not, of course, but the grind is real and it has to be exhausting to continue to deal with off field issues. He will have been paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $120 million in in his career at UGA...I know I would retire and tell eerybody to kiss my arse.....

Kirby can be Mark Richt the rest of the way and probably keep his job.
Richt averaged 9.6 wins a year at UGA. Any coach averaging nearly 10 wins a season over 15 years is probably in pretty good shape even in the CFP era where 10 wins probably means at least 3 losses per year. Smart is unlikely to do anything other than retire or quit at UGA...it is highly unlikely he is ever fired - although Mark Richt was.

I’m basing this parity on recruiting.
Parity isn't the problem for coaches. NIL and the transfer portal are driving everyone to drinking.
I can see it too by drinking the Kool aid.

There's no question that Hugh Freeze will not be at Auburn in 5 years
You’re underestimating how long rehabilitation takes.
Bruce Pearl has been at Auburn for 9 years and he didn’t do anything as egregious as Freeze.
