With what other school would Texas have played Kirby?

Don't even care enough to see if it's true.

Yeah, we generally don't count those as wins or losses for coordinators, so you could have left off the qualifier.

See you in the playoffs?

It was a joke.

But, what is CKS record at UGA today vs CNS record at Bama today.

I'd bet it's very close if not Saban slightly leading.

He's done a great job in a smaller sample, but shown every bit to be the next great coach. Congrats.

I'm sure saban does lead. Saban also had about 15 years of head coaching experience before bama while this is Kirby's first rodeo.

Texas fans still relishing a win in a non-CFP bowl game that happened 5 years ago is sort of sad and unfortunate.

It's akin to a fan base still celebrating an NIT championship that their basketball team won 5 years ago, or celebrating it at all to begin with.

Up until two weeks ago, that Sugar Bowl game against Georgia, the one where Dawg fans didn't buy tickets and the players started opting out, was the Texas program's biggest win since 2010, which is really pathetic.

Today Kirby is 84-15 at UGA

Saban is 196-28 at Bama.

I got my numbers from Wiki, but included all on the field games. None of that vacated crap.

I doubt Kirby coaches as long as Saban.

CKS has been great.

But, the GOAT is the GOAT even if it may be the twilight of his time.

The side-by-side graphic they showed during the South Carolina and Georgia game comparing the results of Saban and Smart through 98 games was kind of mind-blowing.

...remember the meme a few years ago of Kirby being unmasked to reveal Mark Richt underneath?

...looks like y'all had the wrong guy.

I remember when this board liked to post Mark Richt record and Kirby’s side by side. Now he’s passing both Bear and Saban in a single weekend and silence. Kirby shut you motherfrickers up.

I hate Saban but this shite is intellectually dishonest. Saban took over a train wreck dumpster fire, a legitimate rebuild. Richt was nothing if not the most consistent coach in the SEC during his time in Athens. Kirby no doubt was what GA needed to go to the next level. But the cupboards were far from bare. Kirby didn’t rebuild shite at Georgia any more than Urban Meyer did at Ohio State.

Also don’t forget that Dabo’s story mirrors Kirby’s quite closely and look at that fricker now. Don’t get too cocky.
