Pittsburgh-1982 Marino team
Pitt is actually 3-0-1 all time against us.

yeah that was the 2011 season which was pretty wild. Started 0-2, won 10 straight, then lost the last 2.
Brandon Boykin had a KOR for a TD and I think a pick 6 or a safety, I remember he scored in multiple ways. Hell he may have scored on offense too, my memory is fuzzy. Blair Walsh missed at least 2, maybe 3 FGs that day. Kirk Cousins was their QB. We went up big but they came back and we fricked it away in 2 OTs.

Another trivia quesiton within a trivia topic within a trivia thread...
Q: Who was the only player to begin and end their college career against UGA?
A: Tony Dorsett. He began his career facing UGA in Athens to begin the 1973 season, then faced UGA again in the Sguar Bowl to cap the 1976 season. I've always thought that was kinda neat for a non-conference player to bookend their career in that way.

Word on the street was Aaron Murray stole Blair's girlfriend so he took out his revenge.

I remember the 96 Southern Miss game well. I was 26 and still living in a downtown loft in Athens. Got so disgusted with that game that I was walking out of the stadium when SM was lining up to kick the FG with a few seconds left to go up 11-7. Stopped at the tunnel and watched it and just walked on out. What an ugly game.

That was the game when the P.A. guy started playing the Macharena and the cheerleaders started dancing and a bunch of folks started booing lol. Also remember it was really hot and the game was shitty.

Yes, but there is no Bama 32 game streak in 1993. At least not consecutive streak
I was off by one, but well, you’ll see

The nation’s longest unbeaten streak ended at 31 games Saturday as Louisiana State capitalized on mistakes to upset the defending national champion, 17-13.

Fifth-ranked Alabama hadn’t lost since Sept. 14, 1991, when it was defeated by Florida, 35-0. The only blemish since was a 17-17 tie with Tennessee earlier this season.
More reason to hate Tennessee
Bottom line is LSU has been repeat dynasty killer.
UGA, your time is coming…. Probably not this year.

So then it wasn't a winning streak, it was an unbeaten streak. Different things.

Next year is a pretty big rebuild.
If Beck does as planned, we will need a new QB, LG/C/RG, replace production from Bowers/McConkey/Rosemy-Jacksaint, and Kendall Milton on offense.
Defense will be replacing two NFL ILB, Lassiter at CB, Tykee at nickel, and an old guard group on the defensive interior.
In other words, there is an urgency this season.

^^^The only times you ever post on here is when you feel the need to try and correct someone. I am convinced that you are the world's most annoying person on the internet lol.
