95 Nebraska was the best team to play CFB in my opinion. 01 Miami was probably the best collection of talent.
The sheer level of dominance that 95 Nebraska showed throughout its season was just sickening. The absolute destruction they laid on everyone was just ridiculous. Dropping 62 points on the SEC champ in Florida in the national title game equivalent is no joking matter. The closest game that 95 Nebraska had was Washington State, and that game was a 2 TD victory for the Huskers.
01 Miami was sick, but they did not always play up to their potential. A sloppy showing against Boston College and a squeaker against VaTech really diminishes that 01 squad when viewed in comparison with the all-time great teams.
